She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Northwestern State University in 2020 and her Master of Social Work from Troy University in 2022.

Laura’s social work journey began with hospice volunteering, where she cultivated a deep understanding of compassion and presence. Her path later led her to work with children and families, with a growing focus on behavioral health and trauma recovery. As a military spouse of over fifteen years, Laura brings firsthand insight into the challenges faced by military families, having supported diverse populations in both rural and urban settings across the country.

Her early clinical role as a Family Advocate laid the foundation for her career in client-centered care. She later served as a Student Aide Substitute Teacher at DoDEA Southeast, working closely with students managing emotional impairments. Most recently, she worked as a Clinical Therapist at Allied Behavioral Health Solutions before relocating to the Eglin Air Force Base area.

Laura specializes in Military Spouse & Family Support, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Adolescent Mental Health. She integrates a range of therapeutic approaches including Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and SPARCS (Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress).

Her therapeutic philosophy centers on helping individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered. Laura is committed to creating safe spaces where clients can learn practical, effective skills that foster healing, resilience, and long-term well-being.
