Ms. Desiree Lilley is a dedicated advocate for mental health and substance use disorders. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Addiction Counseling at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Desiree’s commitment to providing quality care to individuals and families impacted by mental health and substance use disorders is a deeply rooted passion of hers.
As a military spouse and military child, Desiree Lilley has a unique perspective on the challenges faced by military families and children, specifically in mental health, substance use, trauma and abuse.
Desiree’s professional journey includes significant roles in crisis intervention, justice-involved clients, and drug prevention. She has worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor at a residential treatment center specializing in detoxification, relapse prevention, drug education, and safety planning where she provided support to incarcerated women with substance use history. Desiree has also served as a Youth Support Worker at Oak Grove Center, a nonprofit residential treatment center for at risk youth.
Desiree holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology from Park University, where she found her passion for mental health. In her personal life, Desiree enjoys going to the beach, reading, running, cooking and spending time with her family.
Her diverse experiences and unwavering commitment to mental health and substance use disorder make her an empathic and compassionate counselor for those in need.
