Ms. Adeena Eisen is a dedicated advocate for mental health and social justice. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Social Work with a focus on mental health and substance abuse at Ohio State University. Her commitment to destigmatizing mental health and ensuring that individuals and communities receive quality care is deeply rooted in her experiences and passion for helping others.
As a military spouse, Adeena has gained a unique perspective on the challenges faced by military families, particularly in the areas of mental health and domestic violence.
Adeena's professional journey includes significant roles in crisis intervention, advocacy, and nonprofit fundraising. She has worked as a Support Worker at a crisis hotline specializing in suicide prevention, safety planning, and domestic violence, where she provided vital support to individuals in critical situations. Additionally, Adeena served as a Development Associate at Undue Medical Debt (formerly RIP Medical Debt), a nonprofit organization committed to alleviating medical debt and advocating for accessible healthcare in the United States.
Her dedication to reproductive justice is evident through her volunteer work with an organization that assists minors in accessing abortion and birth control without parental involvement.
Adeena holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy & Public Affairs from The George Washington University, where she cultivated her passion for social justice and advocacy. In her personal life, Adeena enjoys rock climbing, drawing, exploring nature, and spending time with her beloved Black Lab.
