Dr. Melissa Murphy-Stolowitz is a dedicated clinician with extensive experience in research, assessment, and therapeutic intervention. She has worked in diverse clinical, legal, educational, and military settings, implementing evidence-based treatment plans, conducting forensic assessments, and facilitating interventions that support resilience and recovery. 

Her expertise spans forensic psychology, victim advocacy, trauma-informed care, and military mental health. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University, concentrating on victimology and researching serial offenders.

Throughout her career, Dr. Murphy-Stolowitz has served as a psychology trainee and intern, a victim advocate in the U.S. Army, an adjunct instructor in higher education, and a clinician specializing in offender rehabilitation. She has worked with diverse populations, offering therapeutic interventions, competency evaluations, and trauma-informed support. Her work emphasizes integrity, collaboration, and evidence-based care to foster healing and personal growth. 

Beyond her professional work, Dr. Murphy-Stolowitz has volunteered in leadership roles within military spouse support groups and community programs, emphasizing mentorship and advocacy. Her career remains dedicated to advancing psychological research, education, and advocacy, and the clinical practice of psychology.
