Mrs. Anyinkia Forteh is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (BSN, MSN, PMHNP – BC) licensed in the states of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia with extensive experience in psychiatric and mental health. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, comprehensive, and patient-centered care. She utilizes evidenced–based treatment guidelines in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, insomnia, Bipolar, PTSD, Psychosis, OCD, DMDD, Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and ADHD. She possesses strong clinical skills with the ability to build a good rapport with patients and families. Focusing on the client’s individual needs allows her to develop client-specific treatment plans to address their needs. Anyinkia’s goals are to establish a therapeutic relationship with each client, reduce stigmatization in mental health, promote treatment adherence, and help clients accomplish set goals.
