Ms. Lindsay Anderson brings nearly two decades of experience in the helping professions, offering compassionate, person-centered care rooted in empathy, resilience, and respect. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from James Madison University and advanced graduate training in clinical social work at Salisbury University, Lindsay blends real-world expertise with evidence-based approaches to support individuals through life’s most complex emotional challenges. Lindsay offers support grounded in respect, and a deep commitment to healing.

Her professional background includes working with individuals impacted by substance use disorders, serious mental illness, and life transitions. She spent over a decade supporting individuals and families facing end-of-life experiences at a nonprofit hospice, and has also served clients in a residential behavioral health program for those with co-occurring disorders.

During her most recent clinical placement at a virtual outpatient therapy agency, Lindsay received advanced training in evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She is passionate about walking alongside her clients to offer a nonjudgmental space where they feel seen, heard, and empowered in their journey.

Lindsay specializes in Trauma-Informed Care, Grief and Loss Support, and Substance Use Recovery, with a special interest in supporting women navigating emotional pain and life challenges.

Outside of her clinical work, Lindsay enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her family. Her personal and professional experiences inform her therapeutic style, creating a grounded, compassionate presence for clients seeking support and transformation.
